Personally, I have a great relationship with my nephews and it was heartbreaking when my brother’s relationship broke down and he was unable to see or speak to his kids. He is a fantastic father and the kids were negatively impacted by not being able to see their father, this touched my heart and started the journey to bring a father’s view of separation to the big screen.

 

Twisted portrays the fathers view of separation and follows his downward physical, psychological and emotional spiral that leaves him in a psych ward believing his killed his own son.

 

I have a completed screenplay, the beginning of a team, and casting is almost complete and believe we are ready to go into production.

 

This is the director Leanne Campbell’s first time directing a feature film, however she has extensive experience working on other independent films and an experienced team around her.

 

The cast is the best acting people you probably have never seen.

Donations will be used to pay for the significant costs involved in production. While we are enormously grateful for all the volunteers who have already committed their time and expertise to the project there are expenses we can’t beg borrow or barter for.

 

We are looking to raise money to cover:
– location fees to in Melbourne and Nyah West
– catering costs so we can feed our volunteers
– equipment hire for particular gear we don’t already own.
– some specialised crew roles we can’t find volunteers to fill
– art department costs (we need lots of blood)
– post production costs
– marketing costs
